A letter to ______
I made this card yesterday to my student Anna from my last job.
Working as a teacher, I believed building the trust and relationship with the students and their parents is important. I talked about the reason that I quit this job before as I don’t like how the daycare centre treats the kids, always want them to finish their homework “like an robot” and want the teacher to pretend we are working in a “factory!” It is such an awful idea to treat our young generation.
I was a new bird to be a teacher, but I tried to be a “different teacher” and this is the payoff that I still have such a great relationship with the student and their parents after I quit my job. There was a midnight that I chatted with jesslynnpadilla for hours about our “teacher life” haha! Im grateful that I found someone who has same thought as me!
